The reason behind the books.

I had a friend, I say had because she has gone to be with the Lord, who once told me that she wished that there was a Bible homeschooling that she could put her children through. She said she had found some Christian homeschooling programs, but they were one expensive and two she found them to be teaching more opinionated doctrine rather than biblical truth. I loved to read the Highlight books at the doctor’s office when I was a kid. I also loved the Bible stories from Focus on the Family. I thought, what would it be like if those where mixed.

I have a solidified belief that every person has a foundational belief system that they filter all their decision making through their whole lives. This belief system becomes the way we see our world around us. If there are things missing in that foundation, then life becomes harder to live. I want to give what God has given me so that others can have an easier life. I want to help build solid foundations and possibly fill in holes that may have formed from something missing for people. I believe that everyone is put on this earth for a reason. I am thinking maybe writing these lesson books might be a small part of why I am here.

Bible Basics is a collection of books created to inspire imagination, connection, growth, and wonder. They can be paired with any homeschooling study program (in turn making it a bible based homeschooling program), used as a family home study, support of a Day Care learning, or an addition to Sunday School Teaching. Each book collection is creative to its own unique style. For example, “God Made Everything” is created as a comic book and “Let’s Get Fruity” will be made in the style of a story activity book.

All of this is the reason behind the Bible Basics Books.
